JAPAN VISA REQUIREMENT

  1. Valid Passport:
    Your passport must be valid for the duration of your stay in Japan.​​

  2. Visa Application Form: Complete the visa application form accurately and honestly. This form can usually be downloaded from the website of the Japanese embassy or consulate in your country.
     

  3. Photograph: Provide a recent passport-sized photograph (typically 2x2 inches) that meets specific requirements (white background, no shadows, etc.).
     

  4. Visa Fee: Pay the applicable visa fee, which varies depending on the type of visa and your nationality.
     

  5. Proof of Purpose of Visit: Provide documents that clearly state the purpose of your visit to Japan, such as a letter of invitation, business meeting schedule, admission letter from a Japanese educational institution, etc.
     

  6. Proof of Financial Means: Demonstrate that you have sufficient funds to cover your expenses during your stay in Japan. This can be shown through bank statements, sponsorship letters, or other financial documents.
     

  7. Travel Itinerary: Provide a detailed travel itinerary, including flight bookings, accommodation reservations, and planned activities in Japan.

JAPAN LONG-TERM VISA

    • Engineer/Specialist in Humanities/International Services

    • Intra-company Transferee

    • Skilled Labor

    • Highly Skilled Professional

  • Duration: Typically 1 to 5 years, renewable.

 

2. Student Visa

  • Purpose: For individuals studying at a Japanese educational institution.

  • Duration: Duration of the course, typically up to 4 years and 3 months, renewable.

 

3. Spouse or Child of Japanese National Visa

  • Purpose: For spouses or children of Japanese nationals.

  • Duration: Typically 1 to 5 years, renewable.

 

4. Long-Term Resident Visa

  • Purpose: For individuals who do not fall into the other categories but are allowed to stay long-term due to special circumstances.

  • Duration: Typically 1 to 5 years, renewable.

 

5. Dependent Visa

IMPORTANT NOTE:- You can apply for said visa 180 days prior to your planned travel date. During the processing time of any Visa type application, respective Embassy/ Consulate holds a right to ask for any additional documents to justify the application purpose.
